Indorama Ventures Pcl (IVL), a global chemical producer, together with 101 True Digital Park, Bangkok Hospital, Bitec, Esplanade Cineplex Ngamwongwan-Khae Rai, Major Cineplex, Michelin Thailand, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Trash Lucky and Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, are supporting the production of PPE coveralls made from recycled PET yarns.

Central Pattana pilots takeaway counters at all malls

Central Pattana Plc is piloting free counter service space for delivery and take-away food in order to help spur sales for 300 of its tenant restaurants at 18 branches of Central Pattana shopping centres nationwide. Central Pattana said the measure would offer extra convenience for customers, under its “Hygiene and Safety” master plan.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand has approved more measures to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic after a recent outbreak in the country, including soft loans and reducing utility bills, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said on Tuesday.

Reduced water, electricity bills among relief measures approved by Cabinet

The Cabinet on Tuesday approved measures proposed by the Office of the National Economics and Social Development Council (NESDC) to help alleviate the people’s financial burden during the latest Covid-19 outbreak, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha announced after the meeting.

BTS runs more trains to help maintain social distancing

Surapong Laoha-Unya, chairman and chief executive officer of BTS Group, said the company had increased train frequency to 2:25 minutes per arrival from 2.40 minutes to support social distancing despite the drop in the number of passengers recently.

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesian authorities have retrieved one of the black boxes from a Sriwijaya Air plane that crashed into the Java Sea at the weekend, a navy spokesman said on Tuesday.

LONDON (Reuters) - Travellers to England from abroad will from 0400 GMT on Jan. 15 be required to show proof that they have had a negative COVID-19 test up to three days before their departure, the government said in a statement.
