January 20, 20215 yr I just tried to setup a Shopee account but they don't seem to like my US debit card (visa). Can anyone confirm they actually take non-Thai visa cards? There may be some other error but I wanted to rule this out first.
January 20, 20215 yr It's far more likely that your US bank is blocking the transaction because they believe it may be fraudulent coming thru a Thai based vendor. Call them and ask about using it overseas.
January 20, 20215 yr I have not tried to use a card as find direct bank transfer works fine with Shopee and no extra charges for using that method. If you have online banking might want to use that as your payment choice.

You can find that in the knowledge base of shopee Malaysia and Philippines. Couldn't find that in the knowledge base for Sh.Thailand but I guess it's the same. There are other payment options though.

Probably high transaction fees for them. They encourage Airpay. Bank transfers work with domestic banks, of course.
