I am heading to Phuket on June 20th (for the fourth time). This time I will be on my own , for the first week anyway.

I would love to meet some other 'farang' women....if there are any in Phuket...lol.

Done all the tourist stuff...so I just want to hang with some good company.

I very much enjoy just relaxing on the beach..but by the evening I am just itching for a nice meal, good pubs, and a bit of banter.

Also would love to know where get good manicures, pedicures, etc etc etc......I'm up for pampering myself big time!!

ta!

Hi Girty :D

Sorry I’m not anywhere near Phuket.

I spent a week on Patong a few years ago and to be honest didn’t like it much – the beach wasn’t great and an US naval boat had just arrived :o. My mate and I spent most of our time in the hotel being pampered and at a fun Irish pub (can’t remember the name).

Curious where you normally stay, as I think we chose the wrong place. I’ve heard there are some lovely quiet beaches – believe Kate Moss, Jude, Sadie and co stayed at one and loved it :D:D .

I'd love to accompany you but I can't! If you normally live in Bangkok and want to make an additional friend, let me know :o In any case, have fun!
