Bang Saen beach will be fully open to the public from February 1.

Narongchai Khunpluem, the mayor of Saen Suk subdistrict, announced on his personal Facebook that from February 1, Bang Saen will return to normal and all businesses, including hotels, restaurants and coffee shops, will also reopen.

He encouraged people to visit the beach on all days except Tuesday, when all businesses will be closed.

However, people who like to experience the quietness of Bang Saen beach as during the Covid-19 control measures should come on Tuesday, he said, adding, all businesses would be closed on that day to give the beach a respite from the crowds.

People can, however, visit and relax and have their own meals, but alcoholic beverages of all kinds and smoking are not allowed, he said.

Both resorts, owned by the Godfather's sons, have an obvious similarity; no police force.

Hope all the party animals from Bangkok Samut Sakhon and Samut Prakan  only boogie down to Bang Saen and don't reach Pattaya. Bring back roadblocks curfews and stress free lockdown!
