BANGKOK (NNT) - The Transport Co. Ltd. has intensified health and safety measures in light of an uptick in usage due to COVID-19 restrictions being relaxed in most areas.

Transport Co. Ltd. President, Sanlak Panwatanalikit has confirmed the company is closely adhering to all Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) measures even while passenger numbers have been below normal. The company’s buses have single entrances and exits and require all travelers to register or scan the Thai Chana application, while the Mor Chana application is used to review passengers.

Social distancing is maintained on all buses, which are also cleaned and disinfected according to a regular schedule, while passengers are reminded to observe measures set by the Ministry of Public Health such as mask wearing and hand washing. All of the precautions are being closely maintained to ensure the confidence of the public.

Following a relaxation of restrictions on February 1st, the company noted an uptick in the number of passengers, while observing that most make sure to protect themselves from the risk of infection.
