They have a zip above the knee, North Face and Columbia make them, photo below:- These trousers are worth their weight in gold, so convenient as you don't need to pack shorts when you're travelling. Just zip them off when you need to. I know I can get them up in Bangers easy enough but I was hoping to buy them here in Hua Hin before I start travelling.
