It appears there is a rumour around Pattaya that from 1st March those renewing, or extending,  their Non Imm O based visa will be required to have proof of health insurance including outpatient cover. Is this true or simply a rumour?

    Just a unfounded rumor.

    It probably got started due to false info that was in a news article.

    Yeah confusion is understandable because of issues with insurance if you leave Thailand and wish to return.
