90 Day Non Imm B Visa Extension

Featured Replies

Wondering if anyone can help....

Arrived on a multi entry 90 day Non Imm B visa (company with 2 staff), and thought that extensions would be no issue.

Have just been informed that the visa can only be extended 'in country' with 4 staff!!! Is this right, even in the current circumstances with Covid?

Thanks

The only extension you can apply for is a one year extension based upon working for a company.

The basic requirement for the extension is here at number 1. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=14714

Those with other types of multiple entry visas have had the same problem due to not being able to leave and re-enter the country easily.

May thanks for the link Joe!

Yes it does actually say that under number 1:

  1. Said business must have a ratio of one alien employee per four permanent Thai employees.

I wish the accountant with full knowledge of our set up would have mentioned this small detail before applying in the UK!! ????????????
