I am curious to hear about your experience: how long did it take for your Special Tourist Visa (STV) application and Certificate of Entry (CoE) to be processed?

Does this mean that getting the CoE is very quick (1 or 2 days) then? And also I am curious whether in practice it does take ~15 working days (= 3 weeks) to get the visa, or is that some theoretical upper bound. Please mention which embassy processed your application as the waiting time may depend on the embassy. I'm mostly interested in US-based Embassies, and even better, the Thai Embassy in Los Angeles, since where I currently live in California, United States (which is assigned to the Thai Embassy in Los Angeles).
