A few months ago a friend ordered a 3D printer from China. When it arrived in Bangkok he couldn't collect it because it seems it's illegal for private people to import 3D printers to Thailand.

But obviously some companies do import 3D printers.

I checked on the internet but I found only years old articles.

Does anybody of you know the current regulations and maybe exceptions?

And can anybody recommend a good 3D printer company in the middle of Bangkok?

 

Currently I have little experience with them but if I buy something I want something reasonable good. Currently this one is on my mind:
