Thailand gives emergency use authorisation for Sinovac's COVID-19 vaccine: official

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given emergency use authorisation for Sinovac Biotech's coronavirus vaccine, a senior official told Reuters on Monday.

Panel to probe conduct of six Palang Pracharat MPs for abstaining in censure vote

The Palang Pracharat party has set up a panel to investigate the conduct of six of its MPs, known collectively as the Dao Ruek group, for abstaining from voting in support of Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob on Saturday, following the censure debate, in defiance of the party whip.

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore has been testing out a "bubble" business hotel that will allow quarantined executives arriving in the country to do face-to-face meetings and even exchange documents without fear of spreading the coronavirus.

LONDON (Reuters) - Prime Minister Boris Johnson unveiled a map out of lockdown for England on Monday that would keep some businesses shuttered until the summer, saying caution was necessary to ensure there were no reversals on a "one-way road to freedom".

NEW YORK/LONDON (Reuters) - Bitcoin fell on Monday after surging to its latest record high a day earlier as a sell-off in global equities curbed risk appetite, with some investors also citing concerns about the rapid rise in the price of the virtual currency.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday Iran might enrich uranium up to 60% purity if the country needed it and would never yield to U.S. pressure over its nuclear programme, state television reported.
