I just renewed my retirment visa at Chiang mai immigration. 2 hours in and out with multi re enry. Never had any problems there, people always very friendly and helpful.

Must have been a busy day for them. I did it in January in an hour and a half, but my timing was superb. Went into immigration at a little after 10 am and was the last one allowed to sign in for processing that morning, others after me were told to return after lunch.

Was out with my extension by 11:40 am.

No telling if cm-happy and my many year prior extensions had anything to do with it but I doubt. it.

My passport is an organizational mess with stamps from front to back and in no order. When told what pages to have copied, they went only to the latest stamps and ignored prior extensions.
