Its now official - I am completely confused about the new Laws

from Thailand as of October 1, 2006...

Coming to Thailand as a Tourist with NO VISA but by air with

return air ticket - How many days can I stay? Thirty days

is my answer, BUT

If I fly back to USA and return every two months as a

Tourist - is this possible SO long as I dont RE-Enter

Thailand while on Exemption visa.

The more I read the new rules, the more strange they

seem, or is this for the people who repeat stays with

extensions each month/

save yourself some headache and apply for a double or triple entry Tourist visa in the states. With a 3 entry TV plus 3 30 day extensions then you get 9 months total. You will need to go to a border two times to get the 2nd and 3rd TV entry stamped.

That way you don't waste a bunch of time, money and environmental damage flying back and forth.
