This is on a settlement visa - I imagine that yours was probably a visitors visa.

    This seems very simple. You have quoted the requirements ( 6 months wage slips, etc), and he (as the financial sponsor) only provided 4 weeks of evidence. Therefore the application was refused.

    On the information you have supplied they had no choice but to reject the application. Supplying only 4 weeks of payslips was asking for trouble and would make UKVI doubt that the income threshold was

More knowledgeable people than me will come along later but, as I see it, there is no reason why your wife could not visit you on a standard visitor visa whilst you work for 6 months..

 

She would have to return to Thailand and then make the settlement application from Thailand.
