The question was about influence. We started with a jazz classic that molded all following music, then followed up with one of the best songs of the swing era, the music that won the war. Several other iconic songs have been mentioned as well. New songs have not been around long enough to influence anything but we might have to give a nod to Tay Tay this year. -

We just been back, and where told 10mb/s so will see when back up country how it works out. All the messages received about top up account is regarding sms and phone. "Your balance is insufficient to use the service. Please top up and try again." It have been 100sms with all kinds of information and offers and reminding me to top up my account. Will additionally buy the D-tac tourist Zim just to try and compare when back home. We do have a mobile broadband router in the gym, so it will be a good back up Zim for all of us. -

Daikin - the worst garbage aircon
We have installed well over 100 air conditioning units, the Daikin ones are the worst we’ve installed in the last 10 years. The covers go brown, the vane cover changes color at a different rate, they are not sealed for geckos and the logic boards break. They are expensive to repair, when the outside unit goes specifically the power board it’s cheaper to throw them away and fit a new one, We now fit TCL as standard and it’s a far superior product. -

Here is a preview of a new smart visa which is in the pipeline for the next batch of new visas to be announced together with the next drawing of the Thai national lottery. Conditions of the new smart visa will be as follows: 1) Having bought 50k baht worth of Thai sandalwood scented candles over the four and a half month preceding the application. 2) Showing a long-term rental agreement of a condo with a swimming pool having at least 160 cm but no more than 180 cm maximal depth. L-shaped swimming pools are accepted. 3) Thai - or Thai accepted - health insurance showing 20k dollars refund against jelly-fish sting treatment (other than box jelly-fish). Visa holders will be allowed to stay in Thailand for 6 months and 23 days each year, with as many re-entries as they like, and their foreign assets* will be exempt of Thai tax. * insofar as they have already been taxed in their home countries. -
