Does anyone know how my girlfriend can set up the cheapest possible co. so she can get a VAT no? I won't be in the company, it's purely Thai. Will it cost her a lot? Be glad if anyone has the info.

She does not need to set up a company. She can set up a sole proprietorship.

So she can sell to companies who more often than not require a VAT invoice. Any idea what sole prop. is in Thai?

my staff says "bai tabien panit" if that is any help. I set up my business this way in my wifes name. It was much cheaper than forming a company. I changed to a proper company later on so i could get a work permit.
