An Immigration Bureau deputy commissioner and spokesman told Daily News that rumors of infection among IB staff at Bang Khen were untrue.

There was an outbreak of Covid-19 among 77 mostly Myanmar detainees at the detention facility in northern Bangkok.

Pol Maj-Gen Achayon Kraithong said that following tests all procedures were followed up the chain of command.

He said that 1,615 people are in IB detention and these have come as a result of court action, from the DSI and probation departments, for example.

Protection measures for IB staff are being stepped up and meetings are taking place to ensure that all Covid-19 protocols were followed.

"He said that 1,615 people are in IB detention and these have come as a result of court action, from the DSI and probation departments, for example."

What they don't say is that all 1615 people were in the same 20x20 room

Yup , breaking all covid protocols in detention. no mouth caps, no 1m5 distance.

How these people get into Thailand? Border complete leak, no papers , no quarantaine, Good, well done !

Now Thailand even get a refuge inflow form Myanmar, good more covid to be spread.

Know a song "we are  on a road to nowhere" not only Thailand
