I'm having trouble with a few sites on my Samsung old phone. 

Especially my Bangkok Bank app. Also Gmail composer and a few others. They worked once then just a black screen the next time and the message 'unfortunately the app failed to start'.

So I installed an Android antivirus from my computer to the Samsung SD card. Scanned virus once, then when tried again black screen then ' unfortunately   comment.

So SWMBO told me to change the Samsung battery and I went to the local Samsung shop and changed the battery. I showed the staff the problem and they tried on their phone with the bank app and it came back with 404 Bad Gateway error. Staff said the same for the other apps that didn't work.

Been like this all day and no one has complained on TV so what to do? Panic?

Have you tried clearing cookies / cache / storage (google play store-storage-clear data) & checked for an update?

Thank you. My fault. Because my phone is 2015 vintage and low on resources I disabled the auto update. That was the problem, when I allowed Google play auto update everything came good. ????

Back up everything

 

Update the phone's SW

 

Upate all of the apps.

 

restart

 

Some apps may require a higher level of Android than that which your phone supports?

 

Delete the troubled apps, reinstall them.

 

Buy a newer phone.
