German Ambassador Shares Photo with Ex-PM Thaksin, Expresses Honour
Sure, Thaksin is anti-foreigner, and responsible for some of the changes in immigration laws that made it more difficult for foreigners to stay permanently in Thailand -

Need advice for an automatic bike
Couldn’t agree more. Furthermore their turning circle is narrower than scooters making it difficult to zig zag through traffic. The only joy I get is when scooters weave in front of me stopped at the lights. Yes they get a couple of meters head start but they inhale my exhaust fumes 20 or so meters later. Some can’t take it (Thai ego on modified scooter) redlining their bikes to catch up to their disappointment. The cycle continues to the next set of lights. I give them credit for trying!!! -

Should A Woman Be Allowed to hold the office of President of the USA?
Meanwhile, in todays news, here is one of these wonderful women doing a man’s job. And incredibly she managed to sink the ship without any war going on!!! https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwylvw9qqd5o A court of inquiry has been stood up to establish what caused this terrible incident," said Judith Collins, New Zealand’s first female defence minister. "The one thing that we already know did not cause it is the gender of the ship's captain." British-born Commander Yvonne Gray, who previously served in the UK’s Royal Navy, was the captain of HMNZS Manawanui. She told the New Zealand Herald the incident saw her "very worst imagining" become a reality. -

I also like Thailand, but not that much! C'mon she a comic relief at Senate. -

Tm47 online submission "rejected"
Given the comment about syncing TM 30 - I assume THAT doesn't expire does it? Not done one of those for a few years and as never been away from home overnight don't need to since the 1st one when we bought current home and stopped renting. -

Bangkok Suffers Severe Smog as PM2.5 Levels Soar Amidst Heat Wave
Burning thrash and waste is a daily sport in cities like Hua Hin and depending on the wind direction, it's unbearable on some days in Hin Lek Fai area and other areas around. As for Bangkok, the excessive amount of private cars all over and lack of public transport definately will not help to contain the Pm levels. -

Achieving Lasting Peace in the Middle East Requires Regime Change in Iran
It's more a regime change in America and in Bruxelles at the EU, that seem more urgent to change, as to bring back peace and prosperity in the world.- 1

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
As much as you might want to talk about other aspects of tax, the one being discussed in which you posted a reply, was about the assessability of credit card transactions, no more, no less. If you don't have any constructive comments, pertinent to the current topic, you should refrain from commenting. -

Thai man’s livestream of police brutality in Bangkok sparks outrage
So apparently the Thai Police are not only racketing foreigners but also locals. Nothing new here and it's been like this for ages. -

Hope with Mr T's family in rule, life will be made easier for foreigners subject to all the visa and immigration or tax hassles that are chasing away the foreign home owners from Thailand. It would also be helpful to make national campaigns aiming to train people to stop cheating foreigners from anything to everything. -

Thai students studying for international degrees at Thai universities
The problem lays into "Teecha Andy mai put pasa-thai". So if pupil will ask what is the difference between desk and table there would be either total silence or freakiest show ever. Farang teacher in International school is not much different from farang teacher in college. Funny I haven't seen any farang teachers in Master program. @MalcolmB you're correct [again] if student really fluent in Thai why he/she would need questionable farang who won't be able/capable to explain what "distillation" is and what is "valence"?- 1

Tm47 online submission "rejected"
They apparently never explain themselves or give reasons and they didn't this time. The guidance manual does say top right it is a CW document but they are the main one anyway aren't they? As the document clearly shows only a 7 day window and I submitted one day outside that I assume that is the reason for the rejection. -
