Zelensky Optimistic About Upcoming US-Ukraine Talks in Saudi Arabia
Well Zelensky is obviously being a bit more thoughtful about the process this time around, and I can't imagine that he's actually looking forward to negotiations when his country is not being allowed to participate, being one of the two parties of this ongoing war! I'm very proud of Zelensky mouthing off to Trump and giving him an earful. Many around the world think that he made Trump and Vance look very foolish and that he deliberately baited them. Telling it like it is, and speaking truth to power. But as we know it didn't go too well, however I do not think Zelensky ever wanted that, as the mineral deal was a terrible deal for you his nation. There's no doubt right now that Trump's talk of sanctions against Russia are simply something that he got permission from Putin, in order to do well in advance, and something that's just simply for the sake of the cameras and his political base, as he's looking like an absolute goon to the extent that he bows down to Russia, and pays fealty to the Russian King. I don't expect much to come out of these negotiations, and I'm hopeful the NATO gets more deeply involved in the support of Ukraine against the serial killing genocidal dictator. My heart goes out to him for having to apologize to Trump again I won't only imagine what it would be like to apologize to such a circus clown. -

Which is 18 too many. Why pour fire on the Ukraine war anyway? To put it into context Russia has 6000 tanks. And you want Germany to reduce its miniscule tank force? The duty of Germany's arms industry and German politicians is to ensure the defence of Germany. Not of Ukraine. in case you missed it German politicians are in tizzy because they are of the view that they have re-arm massively. That btw implies there are not enough arms at the disposal of the Bundeswehr at the moment. So to give of your already too few supplies to Ukraine is madness. -

High Airfares in Thailand Set to Stay as Demand Stays High
Yeah, the domestic routes are ridiculous (and the highspeed rail isn't cheap once you start heading over 200km). Surprised that Tianjin doesn't have direct flights, but maybe it's because Beijing is so close. 🤔 I know there are direct flights from Qingdao and Xi'an and those are much smaller than Tianjin. It might also have to do with Thais visiting those cities more often (Thai consulates in both Qingdao and Xi'an so I assume there are sizable Thai populations in those cities - not sure about Tianjin) -
