Do you guys know if e-scooters may be taken on busses or not?

I suspect they may be treated as cargo/luggage. Or does the battery prevent that?

just park it inside the bus next to all of the others...

just kidding but in all my years here, never seen one transported that way... even w/o battery it will take up a lot of space...

A friend takes his motorbike on long distance busses as cargo/luggage for which there is a fee.

I once took my Honda Wave motorcycle on a bus from Pattaya to Bangkok.  Just removed the driver's foot peddles and it fit in the luggage storage compartment underneath.  Petrol didn't even leak.  The charge was about the same as for my bus ticket.

If your e-scooter is one of those tiny two wheeled ones you stand on and use a foot to peddle when necessary then it shouldn't be any problem fitting into the luggage compartment, especially if the hand grip pole folds down flat to the standing surface.  They may charge you a few extra Bhat, but not much.
