Important - Please Help

Hi, please can somebody help me? Somebody close to me is ill in hospital with an illness called:

โรค ไข่ เลือด ออก

disease / egg / blood / out ?????

Does anyone know the English medical term for this disorder? I'm very worried about them and would appreciate any help.

Hi, I've found out it is โรค ไข้ เลือด ออก (disease / fever / blood / out) not (disease / egg / blood / out)

Is this dengue fever??

That does in fact happen to be how dengue is spread

My Son was admitted to hospital with the same, it was translated to me as Dengue Fever, seems that the hospitals are all familiar with it and treatment is pretty straight forward. Like any disease it is more difficult and dangerouse when first symptoms are ignored, If anyone else in the family is unwell get advice quickly.

not egg/blood/out but fever/blood/out, since Dengue can cause hemorrhagic fever - but the name khai reuat awk is used for any kind of Dengue fever, it does not imply bleeding
