Fat chance......only the big boys get the chance to buy in at the IPO level..........ßhitkickers will have to take their chance once the shares are available.......and by then it is too late to make a killing....in the short term at least.
April 14, 20215 yr Coinbase isn't an IPO it's a direct listing which is a new way to list companies See the link below and have a read it will explain how a direct listing works. https://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-ipo-not-ipo-direct-listing
April 14, 20215 yr thanks for the information. i am also thinking on buying this stock. i was wondering when is the IPO and here you told me. from my experience, price will go up in next few days or weeks, as many institutions trying to grab as much shares as they can. later price might fluctuate. so yes, i think it is a good idea to buy coin base now, short term.

April 15, 20215 yr For anyone from a person who is a serious investor in crypto to someone in the initial stages and of course can tolerate risk, investing in Coinbase should be considered. 10k USD may in a year be 100k USD, somewhere in between (or less), but probably unlikely to have the same intra-day volatility and volatility as most crypto. Returns may not be as high as some crypto, but nevertheless better than keeping money in the bank.

To make 100k usd from 10k in Coinbase shares the Coinbase market capitalization must become 10x higher (680 bln). Let's compare with other companies: Facebook ~700 bln Alibaba ~700 bln Tesla ~600 bln Visa ~450 bln Johnson & Johnson ~400 bln I'd stop elaborating because moderators have already banned me for a week for calling stupid people stupid.
