Self quarantine

I understand rules for self quarantine are posted online somewhere for each province. But I’m not finding the information I’m looking for, specifically about Chiang Mai province. I’m returning to Chiang Mai after being away in another province for a month, one that requires me to self-quarantine.  My specific question is: can I go out bicycling if I can remain far from others?  I’d really like to get out and ride if and only if it’s permitted. Any help is appreciated.

from what I feel it's not a rule to quarantine everybody, rather those who were at hotspots.

it's the first one in thailand and not possible to implement at once - probably millions were travelling for some 10 days around the country.

so you will have to play by ear. There are health volunteers, who are supervising people's movements. If they turn to your home you can discuss with them.

but I think that within 2 weeks there would be many positives and symptomatic forced to quarantine at homes and main attention will be on them, not at random travellers

First............. let's understand the difference between quarantine (which this is not) and self-isolating (which this is).

Second.... it is virtually impossible for the Thais to police correctly.

Third... IMO the importance is in the message of deterring inter-provincial travel rather than the practicality of enforcing these rules.

I have had experience in the last 12 months of moving between Buriram and Chonburi provinces, including having to get a Buriram Healthy sticker and also a travel permit in the January wave, - both were pointless. In the latter case it was only because my missus wanted to play it with a straight bat (fear factor at play) that she called the Poo Yai Ban to announce my arrival from a red zone. He called round, took details and my temperature and told my missus to LINE him with my daily temperature check.

it is preparations for the home isolation program but it is not implemented yet, as i read.

"recover at home virus plan"

most likly it will do like most other plans, programs and ideas.

will have to wait and see how BAD the PROGRAM turns out??

we can expect it to be like any other plan or program, DISFUNCTIONAL.

how is the air craft carrier, bomb smelling devives, fire trucks, card reader for buses, unfinished highways, etc.
