going to siem reap in june. any recommendations for entertainment in the evening?

I once met a girl who worked in a bar (all my stories start this way).

Seriously, she was in Thailand but Cambodian and from Siem Reap. Anyway, she wanted to go home but was afraid she would get arrested so she talked stupid farang (that's me) into escorting her home.

It's a gentle little town (and they have some famous temple there or something) there actually are a few nightspots, I remember us going out to listen to music at some places and her telling me some of the girls in the club were from Vietnam. The Cambodian people are sweet. You feel like you're going back in time 20 years, but it's nice. I would fly, the pick-up ride from poi-pet is he_lacious.

Not sure what you mean by entertainment but a beer or bite to eat at "The Dead Fish Tower hotel" is most enjoyable. Don't overdo the beers you might end up falling in the crocodile pit.

I would suggest you hire a pushbike and ride around SR so that you can size it up. not that big and flat!

Lots of nice restaurants to choose from.
