Phansak Setsathian of PwC said that the main problem was that the supply chain had been hit resulting in a slowdown of production. Cash flow problems for businesses were also severe. Different communication strategies were having to be adopted creating new challenges for business. Investment in more tech was allowing more people to work from home seemed to be a plus point. Firstly China, now 98% of covid cases in Thailand are the UK strain which will finish off thousands of businesses that had managed to scrape through. They coped well with the Wuhan strain but this UK strain is something else. Tragic
