geovalin Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 Banteay Meanchey Provincial Administration yesterday announced the temporary closure of all casinos to prevent the spread of COVID-19. According to a statement issued by the provincial governor Oum Reatrey, all casinos in the province must temporarily suspend business until further notice. “The decision was made to shut down casinos after there were COVID-19 cases found in Banteay Meanchey recently,” Reatrey said. On Monday, Banteay Meanchey Provincial Administration decided to impose a curfew on the whole of Poipet city from 8pm to 5am for two weeks and ban all entry and exit in the whole of Poipet commune as well as a part of Phsar Kandal commune declared as Red Zones.
