Travel Within Chonburi Now

According to Pattaya 103FM and their vlog in todays news section, no travel checkpoints are now operating in Pattaya due to health and safety fears for those who staff them. People are requested not to travel between provinces and no more than that.

Here is a copy of the order to cancel the checkpoint (so I am told).

 

If anyone can translate the order please do and advise the rest of us.

 

There is a degree of uncertainty in the section underlined in red... even Thais are confused by this.

The checkpoint in North Pattaya was it in the process of being disassembled when I passed there this morning

Drove past there on Monday on way to golf at Plutaluang which is much further on.  No sign of any checks southbound nor on the way back and this was before they rescinded the orders above.

 

Lot of roadworks with single lane so take more care
