Thai media Bangkok Business News attempted to explain a new web portal designed to assist in children's online learning.

"Khru Phrom" or "Teacher's Ready" will be avilable from the education ministry as of May 17th.

It's first stage will be 11 days until the start of term on June 1st.

The aim is to bring all resources links and information together under one roof to help students, teachers, administrators and parents in children's online learning.

A second stage of the portal will kick in after term actually starts helping to direct everyone to where they need to be to assist in children's onsite and offsite learning.

The new portal has built on previous experiences that many parents found unfathomable.

The media bandied around terms such as on-air, on-demand and on-hand without providing any real details as to how it will actually work.

Should read... "in the air"...

I hope teachers didn't write this English version - got my red pen out already. Good luck kids - this is sure to keep your education up to standard. Just need the internet now.
