Is there a library open to the public where I could browse old newspapers, in digitized form or microfiche?

Looking to find specific articles written in 1950's & 60's from the 'Bangkok World', 'Straights Times' if this is even remotely possible.

If approach Bangkok Post or similar to find what happened to the paper you want. Someone might have taken over the older paper and still have their back catalogue.
