webfact Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 By Sirakij Pornbanggird BANGKOK (NNT) - King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has launched a vaccination program targeting students and college staff in order to bring back in-class education. KMITL Chancellor, Suchatvee Suwansawat said today the vaccination center located in the college primarily provides vaccines for students and college staff in order to create herd immunity in the institute and to conduct education without fears of causing an outbreak. After providing vaccines to KMITL’s people, the college will continue to vaccinate educational staff working at nearby institutes and public-service workers. Each day, the college will receive 1,000 doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca depending on the Ministry of Public Health. The response from people who received the first dose today, was muted and unconcerned. Most of those who received their initial injection had prepared themselves before getting the shot by having enough rest. As the first day of vaccination passed, none of the receivers complained of any unprecedented side effects. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-05-25 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates
