Daily News reported that some bills can additionally be paid online to ease pressure on crowded Metropolitan Electricty Authority offices in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.

It refers to old bills that are still outstanding - the oldest must be paid first.

The existing channels to the MEA can be used or internet banking (no limit) or 7-Eleven (subject to a 30,000 baht limit).

Hint to people who got inflated bills to hurry up and pay them and don’t ask questions about why so high !

Another governmental dinosaur institution inches its way to the 21st century.

Keep up the good work ????
