Just to close the loop on this thread. Thanks everyone. Things have changed that will not require me to go to Thailand just yet after all.

Update: The Philippine government finally decided to allow its SRRVisa holders unfettered entry in to the country (with quarantine). So I will not be going to Thailand quite yet. Plan is to fly in to San Diego, get vaccinated and other errands and tests. Spend time between doses in a couple Tijuana AirBnbs, enjoy a lot of Mexican and American food. Already booked and ready to go.

 

This is quite an expense and hassle to get a vaccine that they just announced is far less effective on the delta strain but oh well and honestly I can't wait to eat good food again.

      I have just arrived in Bangkok on a STV. My understanding is that the scheme will finish on 30th September so 270 days is not possible. The last extension must be done before 30th Sep.   Say
