Haven't tried this yet, but noticed they had automatic gates at a nearby BTS Park & Ride for cars coming and going. So how does car parking payment actually work? Can it be done swiping a Rabbit card or what please?

Come on @Crossy, you are supposed to know this stuff working for the BTS?

 

I drove in this week and couldn't make head nor tail of the darn pay gate machines, as all in Thai and driving a car at time. Luckily a security guard walked over and swiped the gates open so I didn't pay anything on way out. The BTS web site says the parks are free for now, but when I insert the card you get going in on way out it shows a price but no way to pay it or clear way to open barrier? Only following the onscreen menu all in Thai can you get out for free.  Lucky there was a guard there or I might still be stuck inside. ????
