Those big India numbers a few weeks back, in both deaths and new infections, were very much focused on the big population centres... Delhi for eg, with a population of 22 mil, 4x that of your whole country. But to divide it by their whole country's population, of 1.4 billion, would create a false low. Per capita deaths points a finger at Peru , for no reason I can fathom, but 1,500-2,500 per mil encompasses so many countries.
