In the first story reported by Daily News Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat's PCT force raided two houses in an estate off the Rangsit to Nakhon Nayok Road in Thanyaburi district of Pathum Thani province, north of the Thai capital Bangkok. Here 13 arrests were made after betting on the football tournament being held at the moment in Europe was taking place on "Ufa88e". Twenty million baht in assets were seized including gold jewelry and amulets, two cars and 4.4 million baht in cash. Picture: Daily News The second raid reported by Daily News was in a resort in the Doi Mae Salong area of Chiang Rai in the far north. Region 5 immigration led by IB chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang arrested 17 people in a betting ring with 50 million baht in circulation. Picture: Daily News A manager called Thitichoke, aged just 21, said they had rented the premises just a month ago. Malaysians are believed to be behind this betting group that was also taking bets on Euro 2020 and other gambling games on three websites.
