Damrongsak
Let them eat weed, sheesh. Maybe if they made rice illegal, then gradually brought it back with restrictions and regulations, some folks could make billions of dollars. 1

connda
It's only been legalized for The Friends of Anutin and other wealthy connected Thais. After all the lies about Thais being able to grow 6 plants "like any other Thai garden herb" and make additional income from the sale, in the end what we see is that the cannabis trade is only for the wealthy. The commoner will be thrown into jail if they dare attempt to grow no less make money from the sale. It's been about two years now? I don't know even one Thai in our rural valley who has been granted permission to grow as much as 1 plant no less 6 as an individual. I hate liars.

Won’t happen any time soon. Extorting bribes from cannabis users is a reliable income stream for every police station in the country. They will never agree to give it up. Some people should stay away from alcohol, others from cannabis... It differs from person to person. It does not mean that that is a reason to ban it.
MrJ2U
Anutin seems to have the market cornered. Hopefully he's put in jail over his negligence as Health Minister so the common people can grow it and make a living.
