It's only been legalized for The Friends of Anutin and other wealthy connected Thais.  After all the lies about Thais being able to grow 6 plants "like any other Thai garden herb" and make additional income from the sale, in the end what we see is that the cannabis trade is only for the wealthy.  The commoner will be thrown into jail if they dare attempt to grow no less make money from the sale.  It's been about two years now?  I don't know even one Thai in our rural valley who has been granted permission to grow as much as 1 plant no less 6 as an individual.
I hate liars.

Much of the world has indeed gone to pot. Might as well make that income now. Legalize!

Won’t happen any time soon. Extorting bribes from cannabis users is a reliable income stream for every police station in the country. They will never agree to give it up.

"The research shows that while cannabis users had higher rates of psychotic experiences than non-users across the board, the difference was especially pronounced among those with high genetic predisposition to schizophrenia."

Some people should stay away from alcohol, others from cannabis... It differs from person to person. It does not mean that that is a reason to ban it.
