lockdown!

The pandemic has been totally mismanaged to the point of incredible incompetence and the government response to this is to ignore and hope the problem goes away???? Problem is it won’t go away and case rate and death rate are going to implode! Only way out is stop talking about getting vaccines and just get them at all cost! Thailand rated 3rd worst country for handling Covid, you would think that rating would attract some senior government attention, no, nothing but crickets????

lockdowns are the easy solution when you lost control of the situation,

the western democraties have realized this, and they know they will get voted out for using it too many times during the pandemic

so no more lockdowns for us,

but for emerging countries with questionable authorities, it's a no brainer

the stated purpose of the lockdown will go from "stopping covid" to "stopping civil unrest".

The government worries more about civil protest than covid IMO. The fat cat generals and their cronies are doing fine (always will do) and don't care about the people. If they did care they would be helping businesses and individuals better. They also would be sourcing and distributing effective vaccines at a much faster pace so that the country and it's people would prosper once again.

The problem with lockdown is it is going on the defensive. That was fine last year when there was no vaccines.

Now vaccines are readily available the only real way to go now is on the offensive and fight this pandemic head on.

Basically vaccinate people like crazy and stop all the "red tape" BS,

The time for pathetic excuses has long passed.

Now vaccines are readily available...

They are? In which country?
