July 9, 20215 yr Has anyone had their 16 week 2nd jab changed to 12, which they are doing now? Asked at the hospital but they said it's up to mor prom, only get a cartoon message on line from them daily. Can you change it yourself? Had my first one on 14thJune mrs had hers yesterday but will get the 2nd one before I do.
July 9, 20215 yr they will send you new appointment date. Might be 10-12 weeks. Depends on availability. You can't change date by yourself. If you are planning to travel internationally you can try to ask them

I had 1st does on 7th June 2021 so maybe that is one reason for being informed quickly of the change.

Do you recall what date that was? my line went wrong that week and I had to reinstall a couple of days later, so lost all the earlier messages including ones which were sent in those 2 days. Can't find a way to look up 2nd appt on it now. You are right, found it without waking the mrs up! Edited July 10, 20215 yr by clivebaxter

July 10, 20215 yr Debate in Oz currently, with rising Delta infections, is about reducing the time between the 2 AZ shots to 8 weeks because of the growing emergency. Here's what it says in today's 'Australian': "A study in the Lancet published earlier this year found that the AstraZeneca vaccine provided 81.3 per cent protection when two doses were given 12 weeks apart, but efficacy fell to 60 per cent when doses were given between six and eight weeks apart."
July 10, 20215 yr 1st AZ shot 11 June 2nd AZ shot scheduled for 3 September (brought forward from 11 Oct)

July 12, 20215 yr I had my 1st AZ on 7th June with a second appt. scheduled for 28th September=16 weeks. Originally booked on the Mor Phrom app. No new appt on Mor Phrom Line app. I was in the hospital today on other business and I asked them if they had a new appt date. No, they said and confirmed my original 16 week appt. Not sure what to do as I thought all appts were changed to 12 weeks (There was even a report of potentialy changing to 8 weeks), not just some appt being changed.
