Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong’s flag carrier has announced the possible resumption of flights to Phnom Penh from July 30. Flight CX 605 is scheduled to depart from Hong Kong at 1650 (Hong Kong time) and land at Phnom Penh International Airport at 2025.

 

The return flight, CX600,  is expected to depart from Phnom Penh at 2145 and arrive at Hong Kong at 0145 (Hong Kong time). Chea Oun, Permanent Secretary of State for the Secretariat of Civil Aviation, has been quoted as saying that the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation of Cambodia welcomes the resumption of flights.

 

He said the resumption was mostly for cargo flights only, with minimal passenger transport due to the spread of Covid 19 and restrictions on entry and exit of countries around the world.
