Bangkok, Thailand-A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok announced this evening, July 18th, 2021, that foreigners over the age of 75 who are residents of Thailand can get a Covid-19 vaccine at Bang Sue Central Station by “walking-in” effective from Monday, July 19th, 2021.

This comes after announcements were previously made that a foreigner registration application would be implemented “soon”, with some reports stating by the end of this month, for foreigners to register to be part of the vaccine program in Thailand.

Thailand has previously had several different registration programs for foreigners, depending on location, including through Thailandintervac.com for those over 60 or with certain health conditions. However, those who had success in applying for these programs were often the ones who could register the fastest and results were varied, with many complaints about the programs online.

Some provinces, like Phuket or Chiang Mai, had provincial foreigner registration programs but others, like TPN’s own Chonburi, have no foreigner registration program at this time. (primarily due to allocations of vaccines locally, at least in Chonburi.)

Do they have to be accompanied by both parents?

Just asking.

What about such elderly people (75 and older) residing outside Bangkok? in Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and other provinces???

N95 face masks are 95% effective in blocking a viral load.
100% effective? No it's not.  Then it would be called an N100.  No such thing exists.
Stop spreading fake information.  3M would not even concur with that assertion. I wear N95s in public.  There is no assurance of 100% protection.  At best if you are wearing in properly it's effectiveness is 95%.

crowding in to get the vax concerns me, outside or not. How many will pick up the virus prior to their vax kicking in -  with a 75 yr old the outcome could be fatal..

And the alternative?  This Delta is not missing many so getting a shot is more important than ever regardless of age.  By all means observe separation and use sanitizer but we older folk need the vaccine as isolation is not likely to work with this version.

Fake information? Are you for real? How do you think you are helping?

An NHS hospital that upgraded the type of face masks used by staff on Covid-19 wards recorded a dramatic fall of up to 100% in hospital-acquired coronavirus infections among those workers, research shows.

N95 masks

A UK hospital makes an observational study and says that N95 masks are 100% effective and it's 100% true.

Numerous observational studies are conducted showing the efficacy of Ivermectin and the same people saying N95 masks are 100% effective will tell you the Ivermectin studies are 100% fake news.

You can't have it both ways.

An N95 mask is not 100% effective.  Eventually someone will get ill.  However, the more interesting question to ask is - why haven't the front-line workers been provided with proper PPE like N95/N99 masks since this started.  Why now?  What should be asked is why those whose responsibility it is to protect hospital staff have put them all at risk until now?

N95 masks

Meanwhile the general public are being told they are completely protected by cloth masks.  The holes in those cloths masks are about 50,000 time larger than the SARS-coV-2 viruses.
So why aren't N95 being handed out to the entire world's population?
