Pattaya: Drunk driver detained after causing damage and shouting: "I'm a loan shark with Covid - everyone must die"

Sanook reported that on Tuesday night at 8.50 pm the Nong Prue police were called after a man in a vehicle went into a house and motorcycle parked outside then after reversing drove off. 

 

It happened at a T-junction near the temple of Wat Bunsamphan.

 

Locals found a licence plate with the number 6079 and one aggrieved citizen then took off after the driver and found him crashed in a wooded area.

 

It was Pirasak, 29, who was drunk and ranting.

 

He said: "I'm a loan shark charging 20% interest, I've got Covid and everyone has got to die".

 

He was taken for a breath test and detained.

Business certainly is booming these days for loan sharks in Thailand. So many legs of delinquent borrowers to be broken, so little time...
