July 22, 20215 yr Could something be done to reduce necro-posting in the News forums? What happens: Some threads will be two weeks, or even a month old—and completely outdated—and some doorknob will appear and make a post, to say something entirely irrelevant... which bumps the thread—among all the recent and actually relevant news threads. Solution: Maybe anything that isn't relevant or is unimportant, posted after for example a week of no activity in a thread, could be deleted? This would result in much cleaner News forums.
