Thailand’s Palang Pracharat Party will stay for the full term despite rumours that there could be an early house dissolution, an MP from the ruling party told Thai Enquirer on Tuesday.

The parliamentarian was responding to rumours which spread over the weekend that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha was set to resign or that the house was about to be dissolved.

The rumours sparked numerous hashtags including several that opposed any possibility of an appointed premier in the event that Prayut did resign.

No doubt they are planning their exit strategies at this moment. They are despised by the masses, like never before, and even the long term loyal party supporters, are no longer supporting this band o

The click of the camera probably woke him up.????

Good photo choice, those of us who may believe Prayut is in charge are mistaken.

It’d be a start but can’t see it. They all need to go.

There're going nowhere their excuse will be how can we run an election campaign in a pandemic, their slogan will be "How we Saved the People"

Get out. Get out now. You are not needed. You are not wanted. You are not approved of. You are not liked. You are bringing down your nation, running it into the ground, and moving it backwards. You are turning your nation from the dynamic tiger of SE Asia, to a sickly, Covid infested, back alley, anemic soi cat, dying of starvation, and racked with disease.

A nation not to be taken seriously anymore. A place where foreign investors are leaving in droves, with the knowledge that this place is not going anywhere, anytime soon.

Anyone. Anyone with a pulse could do better. Justin Bieber comes to mind. Or Sorn the plumber. If someone was making an intentional effort to sabotage this nation, and blow every opportunity they had to improve things for the common man, they could not do a better job than Prayuth, who is a complete failure at everything he does, and always has been.

You can't do just anyone .... but I'll admit that the bar is reallllllly low.

Bloody Hell! I was just going to have only 2 beers tonight!

In some countries the current government would leave office and dissolve government before the Covid crisis is fully realised then let the newly elected government take the blame and have to resolve the crisis. The old government would then step back in by say using a military takeover after the elected people have done all the work. I don't think that would happen in Thailand.(!!!!!!) I would not dream of criticising this government in such a manner such criticism could be construed as causing trouble and could cause a warrant for my arrest to be issued.

... 555, well, 'full term' might be relative, here the editor in chief / thaienquirer confirms what quite a number of our esteemed members had already reported over the last months ... that pretty much everybody and their dogs are meanwhile 'less than amused' ... :

Obviously the corrupt Muppets will try to see out the term as the coffers will only bulge further as a result, not to mention the watchman's belly.

The democratically elected military government. Little Fatty looks happy. Needs some captions. Prayut: Hey that's my chair. Little fatty: Ha Ha Ha. Not for long.

In AUG 2019 I sat on a flight with the Asst. Ag Min as above and his entourage. My seat mate was not part of the official delegation but went along as a friend and translator. I mentioned some critiques on ThaiVisa.com He said that he  had never heard of it.

That their are people who believe that the government is going to resign or dissolve makes me laugh.

Let the people talk and while they do the "laundry services" continue at full pace, as government individuals hone their exit strategies and retirement plans prferrably in countries that do not have extradition treaties with Thailand.
