Royal Thai Police spokesman Pol Col Siriwat Deephor gave the details of three cases of fake news being shared online investigated by tech police and the Digital Economy and Society ministry.

The first involved claims that a senior police sergeant in Phrae in the north of Thailand died after receiving two doses of Astra Zeneca vaccine. It was alleged that he had no underlying health concerns.

The truth was that Watcharakorn Bunta died from a brain hemorrhage and had high blood pressure and lipidemia.

He had in fact received one dose of Sinovac and was due to get a second dose of Astra Zeneca on August 3rd.

The second case featured a story that claimed that a Covid-19 self-test kit referred to as SGTi-flex had been approved by the Thai Food and Drug Administration. This was more fake news.

The third involved a claim made on THvaccine.com that people could secure a dose of Pfizer vaccine for around 10,000 baht (in digital currency) and get jabbed at a government hospital. People could transfer money.

The spokesman said that Pfizer supplies that would be coming into Thailand - namely 21.54 million doses - would be free, reported Daily News

The police are looking into possible prosecutions in the above mentioned cases and asked the public to be careful about what stories they share and comment upon lest they be prosecuted themselves.

People were asked to continue reporting fake news to the authorities via various means.

With the cold chain of -70 degrees required for Pfizer, doses received outside of a hospital setting would most likely be useless and quite possibly hazardous to your health

They've relaxed the cold chain requirements a bit, but still your main point stands. Any smuggled doses will quickly degrade to the point of uselessness.

Some people worry about long-term side effects, but the actual problem was the opposite. Pfizer and Moderna had to solve getting it to last long enough for the body to react to it.

This claim about -70 degrees  is the zombie fact that will not die. And it's been dead for months. The fact is that the requirements for the mRNA vaccines are now these:

They can be stored in a freezer with temperatures ranging from -25c to -15c for up to 6 months. (Home freezers can attain these temperatures)

They can be stored in a refrigerator at 2c to 8c for up to 1 month.

Fantastic. I'm in with 3 previous posts. Soooo serious. It's a fake news article. Not sure about the 1st one in the article. Might be a cover up, might not be but relax guys.

You guys are posting about cold chains. LOL.

AR rather than AZ comes to mind.

There is suppression of facts all over the place right now. If the view does not line up with vaxxers views, they suppress. You know because one or two major news commentators speak out against mandatory vax, and their material is completely suppressed.
