Cambodia. Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to arrive from US on Friday

The U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh said one million doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine donated by the U.S. to Cambodia via the COVAX facility will arrive Cambodia on Friday.

 

This donation is part of the United States’ ongoing support for the people of Cambodia and the region as it recovers from this devastating pandemic, underlined the embassy in a press release issued this evening.

 

The first half of the doses will arrive on Friday, July 30, at 07:15 a.m. at Phnom Penh International Airport and the remainder is expected to arrive on Monday, Aug. 2, it added.

Thailand is only now trying to sign up to COVAX. Because they didn’t want to sign up to the free system, as they thought the AZ factory would be sufficient. They didn’t want something that they couldn’t make money from on the side !! You cannot fleece free things !!
