henwoj
Before consulting lawyer, heads up needed. Camp is being built for 30-50 migrant workers next to residential estate. Are there any regulations about where camp can be built (e.g. not adjacent to residential areas)? Particular concerns about health (covid / worker camps), security, sanitation, hygiene, noise, rowdiness and privacy, can these issues be addressed? CharlieH
The best situation is to go talk to the Pu Yai baan, he will know for sure what is or isnt permitted. If he says Ok (even as a result of an envelope)You got nowhere to go without consulting a lawyer and better have deep pockets.
stratocaster
I would be more concerned as to what is to be built on the site assuming the camp is for that location. Where your camp is my mate got a 10 storey 300 room apartment block for migrant workers. His house is permanently in the shade.
Rampant Rabbit
From experience even if you provide them with nice new clean accomodation they will trash it , never clean it and use everywhere as their personal rubbish tip. Had many a Burma worker and many Thais all similar. Gave them brand new accomodation beautiful, they treat it like krap, they simply dont care.........oh but if they go out anywhere many will make sure they look good in their physical appearance then come back to a <deleted>ehole. Thise are temporary whilst they construct whatever monstrosity they are planning next to you. Edited August 6, 2021 by Rampant Rabbit
