Or get tourist visa for 60 days and extend for 30 days while I’m there. How can I change my tourist visa or get the Non O at the immigration office without being married to Thai ? Being the parent of a Thai with 400k baht in a Thai bank. If you are 50 or over you could apply based upon retirement if you have 800k baht in a Thai bank. You could find a organization to work as a volunteer and get a non-o visa.
Kazium
Hello everyone, I thought I'd give an update on my situation here. I'm still on the COVID extension, i wasn't able to find a solution to get me off it. However, my employer has agreed to a 'volunteer' arrangement until my work permit is issued, this allows me to preserve my job offer which is all I really cared about here. I'll have to extend my visa once more either using the visit wife or COVID reason, then once the money in my account has been there for another 6 weeks I'll apply for a 1y marriage extension. Thank you everyone who took the time to respond.
