‘Pet Lion’ walks free in Phnom Penh street after escape from villa

Featured Replies

‘Dark Mind’, the lion who was the centre of a custody controversy in June, when he was discovered living in a BKK1 villa, was seen running loose in a street in Phnom Penh this morning.

A social media user has posted up an image of the lion wandering about in Street 306 in Phnom Penh – the street in which the lion was returned to after being initially moved to Phnom Tamao Wildlife Centre by NGO Wildlife Alliance.

A video shot by another social media user  shows the lion walked walking down Street 306
