Corruption watchdog asked to investigate Pfizer vaccinations at Bhumibol Hospital

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is being urged to investigate allegedly suspicious inoculations at Bhumibol Hospital, using US-donated Pfizer vaccine intended for medics.

Well-known activist Srisuwan Janya, from the Thai Constitution Protection Association, submitted a petition to the NACC, demanding that it probe the conduct of the director of Bhumibol Hospital and the chief of the Directorate of Medical Services of the Royal Air Force (RTAF) over an allegation, by a nurse at the hospital, that her name was deleted from the list of medics to be inoculated and that several names on the list are duplicates.

Srisuwan claims that his own investigation found that the list was printed in alphabetical order, instead of by priority, and that there are duplicate names with some names replaced by numerals. He also claimed that the hospital was allocated more vaccine doses than the number of medical personnel and that several of them have not been given their third booster jabs.

Leaked list of eligible frontline medics for 3rd mRNA booster jab donated by US at an airforce hospital shows possible irregularities with repeated names, some with the same name but gender changed.

Not going to happen.

Already sold to Hi So by the Czar and Anutin.

TW works front line and told me that we in the rice fields of Isaan will only be offered Sinovac no matter where they are registered.

She could not get Pfizer!

<deleted>, had Sinovac today.

flying pigs!

true story; my ex was a lawyer, when she was at uni her friend got a job as an intern at the anti-money laundering department. she was so shocked by the blatant corruption going on there she waked out.

Curious to hear whether anyone actually got an appointment to get Pfizer via the expatvac site (and the shot!)? Initially, there was a discussion that appointments would be rolled out after August 10? Surely, 150,000 'reserved' doses cannot just disappear, even in Thailand?

They are being administered to foreigners.  I personally know of at least 3 expats who have gotten their first Pfizer shot and have an appointment for a 2nd one.  Any other questions?

Ok, that´s good news. I assume that is under the Expatvac-program or have they registered elsewhere? I just question because I know a lot of foreigners over 60 with many underlying problems that have registered but without answer.

After that, I apologize deeply for not being as informed as you are. No Sir, no more questions.

thailandintervac.com still has a working link to medpark for pfizer, i used it yesterday for a friend, he gets the jab on wednesday, another friend received his jab there last friday the 13th, Samithivej Sriracha Hospital, Chonburi has a link for AZ, but once on the page pfizer is also shown as an option

i think the expatvac registration program isn't that good, there were/are a few ways to get on a working list, but you have to be diligent, keep up to date on here, people are posting helpful links, check thailandintervac often throughout the day

That's great news. Are the foreigners all over 60 or with underlying illnesses?  Or are they taking others now?

This news article will probably be the last heard about it

Hope it’s not put in the fake news category

The NACC has been defanged, neutered and well, I think it's dead Jim.

Whatever happens, the money will NOT be followed on the Sinovac "purchases". So maybe better to find something else to focus on.

Corruption will always find a way.

It will be as before and as per baby pigeons, we know it is there, we know it exists, but we just can't seem to find it.

Got my appointment for 17th August.

still waiting , I am over 60 with 2 of the at risk medical conditions and have heard nothing, obviously what they say and what they do are the exact opposite, then again what can you expect from a corrupt govt

I am 78 & registered weeks ago on Intervac; got confirmation emails.  I live in the doomed metropolis formerly known as Pattaya.  Bangkok/Pattaya Hospital went viral yesterday; by 9.30 am the list was full.  There was a rumour that the Indoor Stadium were jabbing.  My 70+ yr old pal was turned away by security - 'Thai Only'.  Four others drove to BKK station; only ONE made the cut.

So here's my question - How do you get your jab if you live in Pattaya?

The "watch" dog will roll over for brown-envelope belly rubs, he's a good boy who never bites the "good people".

be vigilant, apply on all available websites.

i have so far for myself and friends been accepted for  Medpark 1 x Az,   Phyathai2 2 x pfizer, 2 x AZ,( jabs all received) BHP 1x AZ, all via thailandintervac, waiting for appointments at Samithivej Sriracha Hospital Pfizer(again via thailandintervac),  BCCT ( british chamber of commerce) AZ at unknown hospital in  Pattaya

not being flash but just to show it is possible to gets jabs, esp if you don't mind travelling to Bangkok

Someone should film these "Only Thai" encounters, and leak them to the donor nations news outlets.

Agreed,

The NACC has the knack

of being rather slack

the crowd face the rack

but it's pats on the back

for the gravy-train pack

In short, it's naccered.

Great.

Have a corrupt government agency investigate some corrupt officials.
